When will there be more dolls available?

How can I buy some nesting dolls?

I currently sell my nesting dolls (along with original artwork, prints and other items) in my Etsy shop. My nesting dolls and one off pieces are available via scheduled release only - and tend to find new homes extremely quickly - but I try to have new work available regularly, around once a month.

Any updates about future releases will be shared in advance, and the best way to stay in the loop is via my mailing list (you can sign up to receive this through the form at the bottom of my homepage). I do also share updates on my social media pages, but these updates can be easy to miss!

I don’t always have a clear timeline of which sets I will be working on, as I tend to decide exact designs nearer the time; this keeps my brain creatively happier than a set schedule.

I can’t see any dolls in your Etsy shop, where are they?

I’m really sorry, if there are no dolls in my shop it means they have all found homes and I will be working on more.

Can I preorder a specific set or be added to a waiting list?

I don’t take preorders or run a waiting list, as I have found from past experience that it is unsustainable and unmanageable (and I need to keep that brain happy!). For now, scheduled releases are the only way I sell nesting dolls.

Do you take commissions?

Again, sorry to be disappointing but I don’t take on commissions.

Why do you only have one or two sets available at a time?

Each set (and each doll) takes many, many hours of work, so I can only have a very limited quantity available at a time.

Do you ship worldwide?

I am based in the UK and where possible, I am happy to ship internationally. I send all of my parcels tracked and insured (using Earth-friendly packaging!).

Sadly due to the new GPSR laws that came in effect in December 2024, I am currently no longer able to sell within EU/EEA countries or NI. I will update as soon as possible if I find a viable solution.

To cover the new tariff chaos, shipping to the US will include duties prepaid, to avoid unexpected fees upon delivery; these will be included in the shipping fee.

What is the price of the dolls?

Prices vary depending on size, quantity and design of the dolls; they currently start at around £90 (plus delivery) for the smallest individual solid mini doll. Please contact me for specific price enquiries and I am happy to help!

Do you carve the dolls?

Unfortunately wood turning is not a skill I possess (maybe one day!), so I source the blank dolls from more talented craftspeople.

What paint do you use on the dolls?

I use quality acrylic paint, and seal them with anti-UV matt varnish. I am currently using mostly Winsor & Newton Galeria.

What brushes do you use?

I am currently using mostly ProArte Polar series, and also their Masterstroke Miniature series.

Are the dolls suitable for children?

The dolls are intended as works of art rather than toys; the smaller dolls are extremely tiny, and fairly fragile, so aren’t suitable for young children.

Do you offer wholesale for your printed items?

Not at the moment.

Do work with galleries?

Again, not currently.
